Please review the two attached documents regarding school safety. As said in the past, when we all drive safely, follow traffic rules, and work together respectfully, we all remain safe coming to and going home from school. I am very sad to share an LAUSD student (NOT a Welby Way student) was recently stuck by a car while crossing in the middle of the street and did not survive their injuries. I do not ever want this to happen to any of our students. Please only cross using the cross walk (even if it takes an extra few seconds), drive slowly and safely, and stay off your phone when driving around campus.
