Each year, near Back-To-School night, each teacher selects one or more Room Parents to assist with classroom activities such as classroom parties. This page contains valuable resources for our Room Parents, such as a Welby Way Room Parent handbook, and assorted Room Parent forms.
THE PARENTS OF WELBY WAY ASSOCIATION
Each Welby Way school (magnet and home school) has a Parent Representative who is an executive board member on the Parents of Welby Way Association Board of Directors. The Parents of Welby Way Association’s function is to assist the school, staff and students by coordinating school events and conducting fundraising to ensure continued funding and support of important Welby Way programs.
Each Parent Representative has two primary functions:
1. To
represent the parents of their respective schools on the Parents of
Welby Way Board of Directors. 2. To coordinate the room parents of their respective schools.
Additionally, the Parents of Welby Way Association has a Volunteer Coordinator. The Volunteer Coordinator’s responsibility is to secure volunteers for school events and Parents of Welby Way Association functions for both schools. The Parents of Welby Way Association sincerely hopes that you will be willing to volunteer your time to assist with these non-classroom events.
