Open House: Our students and teachers have been working extremely hard this school year with lots to show off at Open House on Thursday from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Families will have the opportunity to visit their child's classroom as their projects and hard work are showcased throughtout the rooms I look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday. The Welby Way cheer will be performing in front of the school at 5:00 pm to kick off the night.
Warning Notices: On Friday warning notices will be sent home for students not meeting standards. If your child receives a warning notice this is perfect time to review it with them and establish an academic plan for the remainder of the school year.
3rd - 5th Grade SBAC Testing: This is an important time of year where our students are able to demonstrate their learning to the state, district, and all of us. With this it is also an importat time for students to be in school each day and on time especially the two weeks of testing. Statistically students who test in their classroom and with their peers out score students who have to make up the test at a later date.
***Testing will begin the week of May 6th and end around May 17th. 5th grade will begin on Monday, May 5th with 3rd and 4th grade starting on Tuesday, May 7th. Your student’s teacher will inform you of the exact testing dates.
